Congratulations to Angelico on successfully defending his thesis “Dreissena bugensis foot protein 7, a novel wet adhesive protein from the freshwater quagga mussel”. Angelico has spent his PhD thoroughly investigating the wet adhesive proteins utilized by freshwater mussels of the Great Lakes, resulting in a recent publication in PNAS! Angelico graduates with a Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical Engineering. We wish him all the best with his future endeavours and will miss him greatly.

Congratulations to Rachel on successfully defending her thesis in on the role of glycosaminoglycans in the mineralization of collagen in the peridontal ligament-cementum junction. We are extremely proud that she graduated with no revisions, earning a Masters in Applied Science in Biomedical Engineering. We wish her the best with her future endeavours and will miss her greatly.
